ASSB Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC)


Development organizations need skilled, knowledgeable and committed staff. Training is one of the most effective ways for developing human resources, changes attitudes, widens their perceptions and develops values.

Aloha a integrated development organization operating in northern Bangladesh for around 20 years and from the inception Aloha plays a vital role for institution and capacity building of Aloha and its development partners. The skills, experience and facilities of Aloha training centre can be tapped by NGOs, Government and Corporate organization to develop skill of staff at any level.

Location of Aloha Mobarakpur Human Resource Development Centre

 It is situated beside the Patnitola-Damoirhat Highway of Mobarakpur of Naogaon district.


Services of Aloha Human Resource Development Centre

a)Training Centre Facilities (Venue, lodging, Food etc) for training, workshop, seminar, meeting etc.

b)Training services for development agencies, NGOs, CBOs, own staffs, group leaders and members, leaders, volunteers etc.

Facilities of Mobarakpur Training Centre

The resource center is equipped with residential & venue facility for 40 trainees at a time with air conditioners, computers, multimedia projectors, White board, VIPP board, sound system, sufficient chairs, tables and separate female toilets and 24 hour electricity with generator. Side by side a non-residential training for 12 people can also be carried out.

The center can also be used for holding conferences, seminars and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.

Other Points

  • Time of check in & out: 17:00 hrs & 12:00 hrs.
  • Children below 3 years of age accompanying trainees will not be charged. Children over 3 years will be charged @ 50% for food and accommodation.
  • Children’s caretaker below 12 years of age will be charged @ 50% for food and accommodation. Caretaker above 12 years of age will be charged in full.

a)    Historical Site Visits

Clients can avail two in one facilities because opportunity of visiting Paharpur Sompur Bihar and Patisar of great poet Rabindranath Thakur as the centre is located in the mid of these two important historical sites. On request organizing relevant travel and others arrangements.

b)    Other Recreation Facilities:

Training centre are set in extremely attractive rural surroundings in compact sides with well-kept gardens, called the Aloha campus, located on the outskirts of district towns. During training periods participants are encouraged to organize and present cultural events in the evening.

c)    Internet with WiFi Facilities

Well equipped 24 hours internet with WiFi facilities for the participants in the campus area

d)    Field Visits and Practical Demonstration

For most training courses, field visit and practical demonstrations are arranged in nearby Aloha project areas. During such visit, participants are taken to village-based groups and families to observe their activities. Participants are also encouraged to talk to group members to relate the subject matter learned in training to the actual situation in the field.

e)    Training Equipment and Materials:

Where appropriate, sessions are conducted using modern training equipments. During training audio-visual equipments i.e. TV/VCP, multimedia projector, generator etc are utilized. Moreover, flip charts, posters, photo albums and real materials etc are also extensively used to make the training interesting and easy understandable for participants.

f)      Reading Materials

Libraries consisting of development and other subjects. Daily newspapers and weekly magazines are also provided.
